Embroidery Care Instructions
Due to the nature of embroidery and the use of temporary adhesives occasionally used during the hooping process we recommend washing garments per the manufacturer’s instructions prior to wearing. If a “ring” appears around the logo this will disappear once washed.
- Embroidered articles are best inside out and washed with a mild detergent (no bleach or other chemical admixtures) at 60ºC / 140ºF.
- Never leave damp embroidered items balled or wadded up. This is especially true for embroidery being washed for the first time.
- Embroidered items should be placed on a hanger to dry.
- Do not tumble dry unless the item has been thoroughly rinsed. Never wring out an embroidered item. The lower the washing temperature, the more important it is to thoroughly rinse the item.
- Iron embroidered items on the reverse side between two cloths – never on the finished side! Use of a steam iron for pressing is preferred over damp cloth ironing.
